- If it’s a civil or church ceremony check your new date works with your officiant too. As this may have an impact on your original timings
- Remember, you may need to give notice again at your local registry office if your current notice expires before your new date
- You will also need to ensure the registry office are able to take your new date
- If you are planning a church wedding then you need to ensure the new date allows sufficient time for your banns of marriage to be read
