Real Bride Emma wedding at Kew Gardens

Wedding dress perfect for a wedding a Kew Gardens

Emma was based in Australia when she contacted us to discuss the possibility of designing and making her bespoke wedding dress for her wedding at Kew Gardens. We began the process with a video call bridal consultation.

We discussed all her ideas she had for her wedding dress, We then went away with all her ideas to design and create some wedding dress design sketches. Emma loved the ideas created from the design sketches.

We managed to source the exact fabric Emma had in mind for her wedding dress which was a tulle fabric with 3D floral flowers. Her wedding dress was a soft instructed dress with a gathered ruched effect bodice which tied at the shoulders.

Emma wedding dress also had a front split, her skirt was soft and floaty allowing for easy movement. We felt her wedding dress was perfect for your wedding at Kew Garden

Emma arrived in January 2022 we began the bespoke wedding dress process in February. Emma was invited to our bridal Studio in Acton West London to start her wedding dress fittings. We were able to take Emma measurements to start drafting a pattern of her wedding dress design. This was done through a calico toile process, which is a mock up  of her wedding dress is calico.

Here is Emma's wedding dress being perfected in it's calico toile form. At this stage Emma's wedding dress is perfected in the cut & fitted before it was made in her chosen bridal fabric. The calico toile process can take up to 2-3 wedding dress fittings. Depending on the cut and style of your wedding dress design.
