Wedding dress trends

Ruffles on your wedding dress is a big trend on wedding dresses. On our blog today we will show examples we love whereby ruffles have been used as a feature on your wedding dress. Ruffles can be used as little or as the much as possible on your wedding dress.

We will show you how best to apply ruffles to your wedding dress.

Here is one of our very own bespoke wedding dress designs, where we have used ruffles on a three tier wedding skirt. This design is a two piece wedding dress outfit giving you the option to design from scratch your very own bridal top which we can do for you. In this case we teamed up the ruffled skirt with a high neck long sleeve lace top.

Love Love Love this tulle wedding dress which has a ruffled feature on the skirt and bodice. A wonderful example of use of ruffles through out your wedding dress. Giving the dress a soft romantic feel, perfect for a classic bride

This bridal wedding cape has a ruffled neckline feature. The ruffles have been cleverly applied around the neckline and shoulders. The ruffles in this case has been used as a trim rather than though out the cape

A beautiful example of applying ruffles to your wedding dress. In this dress ruffles have been applied as a sleeve feature. Which I feel works really well this is wedding dress design. Adding some drama and detail to this very soft and romantic wedding dress.

This bridal top has the ruffle detail on the cuffs and waistline on this bridal style. I like the combination of  a silk woven fabric with a textured tulle fabric to create the ruffles. A modern look for a alternative bride

Love this silk satin straight dress with this sculptured ruffled detail draped on this dress. I love the effect and use of the ruffle on a woven silk fabric.

We like the use of ruffled layers through out this wedding jacket. Has a more tailored look for the fashion forward bride.

I love this very soft and romantic lace wedding dress, the ruffles in this cut has been carefully applied on top of the lace. Again we love the combination of the lace fabric with the soft silk fabric

We love the ruffled effect fabric used on this dress. This is another example of how ruffles can be used on your wedding dress.

Couldn't resist sharing the detail on this beautiful dress. The absolutely gorgeous detail of ruffles in silk chiffon "look at those sleeves" the combination of both is magic!!

These are just a few examples of how ruffles can work for you. You can use as little as possible as a trim of be covered head to toe in ruffles. Its all down to the individual, we create bespoke wedding dresses and can help you design your very own look and style.
